Blown Glass Sculpture, Shells
2026

RELICS stages a small archaeology of the uncertain. Blown-glass shells are interspersed with real shells, creating a fragile taxonomy in which the natural and the fabricated become difficult to distinguish. Neither specimens nor replicas, they appear as speculative remains: fragments of a world whose origin cannot be established and whose future is already imagined as a ruin. The work considers the shell as a vessel of time—something that might have belonged to a vanished species, an unknown ecology, or a future archaeology.
